    Rugby Broadcasting options....again

I know this topic has been done before, but as its buried in some other thread which I can't be arsed looking for - wanted to know what's happening with the broadcasting of the Pro14 games? Have been watching on Fox but couldn't find them last weekend. Is there a bye? Have also been reading that Kayo Sports is supposedly quite good value for $25/month for all sports. Maybe this is a better option to Fox?

Rugby Pass have the Pro 14 and not the Heineken now again sponsored by Heineken. Shows how much the game has fallen in Australia when you have to fork out for a streaming service which is usually targeted towards countries with limited rights.

Kayo Sports is Foxtel, same content as the Fox Sports package and I've read some very mixed reviews about it thus far.

Positive would be you only get sport and not the rest of the garbage on Foxtel.

But cheaper then Foxtel, can access on 2 devices at the same time. and able to do features like multi-channels on the same screen.

No TV/PS4 app yet means I won't be getting it. I cbf buying a chromecast, Apple TV or Telstra TV device to stream it especially when I can stream all of those direct through my TV now.

Apparently they don't stream in 4k yet either? I was streaming Fox Sports on my phone the other day it was the HD and it looks glorious. However I'm not paying those Foxtel leeches another $10 a month for HD.

And why isn’t the Pro14 on Fox as it was the past few weeks?

    I have a Chromecast already.

    4K Chomecast is $98.

I dont have Kayo yet. I am sure I read that there were good for 4K.

This allows me to get Foxsports in the shed for the Projector rather than having to pay 150+ for a secondary foxtel box in the shed.

Just buy a $90 android mi box.
Then put Mobdro on it. From https://www.mobdro.sc
Then just install the app.. every cable TV channel from around the world excluding Australia is free

Alternative u can just download it on your phone and cast it to a compatible TV or buy a chromecast for older TVs to cast it onto.

It should be OK. But....... it can potentially let in Malware and other nasties. If you plan on using it I would suggest thorough scans from Malware Bytes and Virus scans after each use.

It's not a PC app it's an android app. It cannot be used on a PC unless you have an android emulator, I use one if you wanna know some good ones I can recommend some.

And ofcourse your android phone doesn't want mobdro on it. It's not from the google playstore. All apps downloaded from websites will give u a warning. It is a safe app and loads of people use it, do some research if you are unsure. Google and reddit are your friend for that.
