The petition is all ready to go, you'll find a copy of the petition and the Guidelines for use attached to this post.
We start collecting Signatures this Saturday at junior registartion and are looking for volunteer collectors from all walks of life to help us out.
If you are interested in helping (firstly) at Junior Reg, plase post a club here. I know we have a couple of clubs already covered for much of the day, but the more the merrier.
Feel free to collect signatures from anybody you like in accordance with the guidelines, you can even recruit your own signature collecters by giving them copies of the petition form and at least one copy of the guidelines per collector.
We're looking to have at least 10,000 signatures before the end of the season, to present to parliament before the last game...this is a big task, but many hands......
Firstly allow me to be magnanimous in my thanks to several highly motivated people who've put a lot of hours into this, and made it into a truly professional document, and campaign. I might be the guy writing the post, but I'm only a small cog in a huge machine.
I hate when people say I'm not gunna name them because I'll forget someone....so I'm gunna name those I remember and apologise to those I forget!
Exile, Jargan, Unipirate, Jono, Badger, Coach, Gunfighter, TiF, No8 (even though he was all for general warfare), Skiz, Shasta, Swee, Burgs (before the junket), tragic.....that's all my brain can handle!
In Short
- Print the Petition form (in multiple copies)
- Print the guidelines
- Post your name a club and a time to this thread
- Head down to the club on Saturday, shoot the breeze, sign your youngen's up to play some rugby and get a ton of signatures.
- Completed sheets can be dropped off at jono's work or posted to me (PM me for an address)
- Start at the top of the list again!
