That's a big call. However if it was the sitting down, unable to defend etc then the decision is fair, although I would wonder why Sare gets 8 (good recovery time and shows ARU the staunch stand taken probably)

Looking at the whole fiasco it appears to have been handled fairly well. Dam if folk don't know where they stand now they never will.

Hard to assess Sare's punishment until all the details come out but it seems lenient given that he'll be out injured for most of his suspension. However, if he's suspended without pay then it's probably ok.

I suspect the suspension will be concurrent with his injury recovery..otherwise will be interesting to see how they will determine when he's fit enough to start his suspension.

I'm a little disappointed the punishments weren't equal. As far as i'm concerned they're both as responsible as each other. Henjak's history just worked against him.

Jehna, the statement quite clearly states that Henjak was significantly more to blame than Haig....or do you know something that the rest of us don't?

It metioned the fine was to come from his "net" salary so I would say he is being paid while suspeneded, $5,000 off his after tax income.

plus no possible match payments - but it wasnt exactly fair and had henjak not been an idiot those few times in the past this wouldn't have grown out of proportion like it did. lesson to all you kids out there - drugs are bad!!

on the field if you reteliate and get caught you are to blame as much as the first person, if not more. Seems to be different rules here folks. Both should have been sacked as Sare is no angel either

Some how i just can't imagine Haig sitting down innocently in the garden having a tea party and Henjak coming up and breaking his jaw for no good reason...but that could just be me...

I think Sare got off very lightly and as you look back now so did the Rottnest crew as well.
