Shaun Berne - Sagearian

A question primarily for the Sage or indeed any other Tah's out there. Rumour has it in Bath that Shaun Berne may return to Bath. He played for us two seasons ago. Any info from your side of the world? How is he playing? Fitness?

What a coincidence! In which case my interest has gone up, I know that Ulster would like to replace Kevin Maggs (crash ball one dimentional but a favorite of mine), perhaps that is their strategy. Shaun would in my opinion be better served returning to Bath where he would join up with our new coach Brain Ashton, unless of course he has any ambition of wearing the Green of Ireland. Could all just be rumour of course?

I've heard the rumour, not sure how much stock I'd put into it.

Myself and most Tah fans have never rated him as a player, especially when he tries to play 10.

That doesn't sound promising coming from a Tahs supporter. So do you think that he shouldn't be in the team at all or just not in the number 10 jumper for sat nights game?

Who is the favourite for the 10 spot for the rest of the year in your mind sage?

He's not the number 10, he used to play some time there and is ordinary at best. He usually runs around the centres now. I don't think he should be in the 22, unfortunatly we're a little short on centres, hence we're got Tuqiri in the middle.

Tim Donnelly is starting 10 for the reds game, we're all waiting for "the guy who looks like Stephen Larkham" to become "the guy who plays like Stephen Larkham"...

So you don't think they will run with Rogers there on his return?

I kinda figure that they'll ease Rogers into fullback on his return and let him go some phases at a time at 10. By seasons end I figure he'll be starting 10 with Donnelly on the bench as a utility 9/10.
