Scotlands aim this year was to win 2 if I remember right, they've already got one hefty scalp, but it's not a triple crown scalp, so they have it all to do yet, but they could take Wales this weekend with all our injury woes and suspensions....

I hope they don't though!

It would be a mean feat for France to win the triple crown.

I still remember my first away trip to Lansdowne Road to see Wales win the triple crown in '88 - first time on a plane too....

I was sat next to some Irish lads on a wall at the back of one of the Terraces at Lansdowne Road, Ireland led most of the time and these boys were screaming support, I sat watching, a little dejected, but when we pulled in the win my old man said it was hilarious as he turned round and saw me screaming "TRIPLE CROWNERS"............ whilst the Irish lads then looked dejected!

If a Home Nations team (Wales, Ireland, Scotland and England), defeats all 3 other teams during the course of the 6N they win the triple crown.

I think it stems from the days before France and Italy joined the fray.
