    Bring it on!!!
Think I'll be Vic ing it on Friday as they have Fox etc.
Being a Friday it should be a bit less of a rush than Internationals but I'll probably be there by kick off for the Blues v Hurricanes (2:30) anyway.
Might save this thread for "passion" type posts and any team talk over at this one- http://thewholeforce.com/showthread.php?t=1290

You guys reckon you'll get 42,600 at the game? That's the Super 12/14 record and it seems like RugbyWA are keen to break it this weekend.

Don't think that it is possible. The ground holds only a fraction over 43000 so to get it that full would be very unlikely. Still if we get anywhere near 40000 it would be absolutely brilliant for Rugby in WA. Can we maintain those size crowds will be the next question.....

What is the average crowd for the Tahs?

Well that's a bit silly then if they can't hold that many.

Tahs games average about 34,500 I think.

Subiaco is listed as 42,922 seats and a record capacity of 43, 302 at last years West Coast v Sydney AFL match (I guess that includes those standing corporate areas? Where's Egan when you need him!)on Aus Stadiums, so we have the potential to break the record by 322 plus corporates Sage.

I thought the record was for the Wallabies SA game?

Hmm, well should be interesting then. It'll certainly show that the Force fans are keen.

From memory that was just under 43,000 but a record at the time for sure, the footy listing is in September so it may have superseeded the rugby one?
I recall something about having put in some temporary seats or something as it was a finals fixture?

    I am here...

Hmm the capacity figure is actually over 42,922 because the WAFC added about 200 seats last year for the AFL Finals, although the final figure was never released it was between 200-500 extra seats. Before they had done this though the NSL Perth Glory v Wollongong Wolves Grand Final in 2000, which held the record crowd after redevelopment for 5 years of 43,242....so I would state that at the very maxium it could possibly hold if we are squeezing everyone in and depending on how many seats the WAFC added, the ground could possibly hold as much as 44,000 if every member and ticketholder came to the ground (which for some freaky reason, is hardly ever the case)

Very possible to get 42,600+ but we need only about 500-1000 seats still to be sold by kick off...I think we could very well sell out, if we have 37,000 tickets sold by Friday, I reckon it would be very feasible that we would get a walk up sellout. (6000 tickets by people living in Subiaco caught up in a pub, people will walk up and buy tickets on game day and we could get a lot seeing as it is the first ever game, with the media saying the night before that tickets are still available on game day)

My mate is going to do the photo, as my camera has gone to Camera Heaven for the time being...

Anyways here is Subiaco Oval's 10 highest crowds since 2003.

    http://www.austadiums.com/stadiums/s...wds.php?id=109

The WCE v Sydney Prelim Final broke the record after redevelopment that the Union Test Match had held by only 24 people...but yes AFL hold the record again...

The Largest Ever crowd at Subiaco is about 55,000 for a WAFL Grand Final...so the crowd figures when they say record, is for the ground since redevelopment...
