How to adjust your smoke alarm.

First you will need some tools and equipment.

    1 x flat screwdriver
    1 x philips head screwdriver
    1 x cigarette lighter
    1 x pack of cigarettes
    1 x large cement slab
    1 x block of wood
    1 x broom

Now you have these things it is time to start adjusting your smoke alarms.

Step 1: Find offending smoke alarm.

Step 2: Get out cigarette and lighter.

Step 3: Light cigarette and blow smoke at smoke alarm. ( If the alarm stays silent then you can finish cigarette and pack away tools. If alarm starts beeping then go on to step 4 )

Step 4: Remove alarm from ceiling. ( Start with screwdrivers. However if that doesn’t work, knock it down with the broom )

Step 5: Place smoke alarm in middle of cement slab.

Step 6: Repeat Steps 2 and 3 ( If it starts beeping go to step 7 )

Step 7: Pick up block of wood and beat the crap out of the alarm. ( A hammer works just as well )

Step 8: Use broom to sweep up mess.

    Step 9: Repeat Steps 2 and 3

Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

Smoke alarms should be installed on ceilings at least 4″ from the wall and away from drafty areas like windows or doors....
