Speaking of Mandurah, having not been home for almost 2 years, how is the Peel freeway bypass going? Does anyone know when it's going to be finished?

Over a year yet James, though I'm not sure exactly. They've started from multiple places, Pinjarra Rd going north and south. Old Coast Rd Myalup going North and Folly Rd (Baldivis) going South.

The first trains ran from Mandurah to Perth about a week ago. We went up last week to watch The Glory - down 4-1 to the Roar - but the train's great.

Should be able to make for some pre- / drinks this season

Something expensive that will reap huge rewards in the long run will always be slated in the short term. I don't need to go past the ARC for examples. On the government though I thought it was ironic that Colin Barnett managed to lose an 'in the bag' election due mostly to a radical plan to provide water from Northern WA to Perth and 3or so years of drought down the line people are kind of wishing someone was done back then.
