We need a poll on weather we should or should not have a new jersey!! (keeping the same colours of course!!)
Seldom, I'm sure from your point of view (wearing a businessman's hat) it would be better to have a new look jersey..I'm supposing it will get the tills overflowing (you cheeky bas...d )

No. Look at the RWC. Aussies changed to a 'streamlined' jersey and see how they ended up. (Also, I am an East Perth Royals member. Look how badly they did when they had the Centenary jumper).

    Leave the jersey alone.

I've gotta agree on the Jersey front Seldom, if you change it too quick all you're gunna do is have your team run out in a different strip from your crowd, now that's not a good look. Give it another year and you'll get a lot more sales when you do change, because a diehard fan will wonder whether to change after two seasons but be pretty likely to make the move after three.

The you get the real d1#*heads like me who will buy one if your sleeve sponsor changes.

How much of a change are you talking about? Why improve anything that already kicks ass- I love our home jersey.

Keep jersey as is, I for one hate change for the sake of profit.
I prefer a bucket hat than a visor! Not every ones choice but would make a change from what's been offered in the past.
AS far as the stadium goes Peter has real battle on his hand Egan - when you have a moment ask him if he has considered the idea of selling seats like Wembley and how much?
At the right price I would be interested - would rather watch rugby at MES than SO any day.

I think they are awaiting clarity before they go looking at the private enterprise scheme to re-develop MES.

You also have to wonder whether the Force would go to a facility that would have restrictions on the amount of revenue they could attract to games.

Eg it appears to have worked in Ireland with Munster in Limerick

    Munster extend 10-year ticket scheme

They stand to gain about Euro$10m (Au$19m) towards the front end running costs.

This only affect 1,750 seats, surely out of the hard core for the Glory and Force we could come up with that number?

Official Word - NO change to the jersey for 2008 (2007 home jerseys 40% off retail in store, 2008 will be $149). Subtle change only in 2009.

what a great idea, the force could easily sell a few thousand of this type of 10 year ticket....

Perhaps Slomo we could look at the the Tamala park option for a TWF/RugbyWA owned stadium?

I see a few weeks after this article was published. The Force moved back to its preference for a redeveloped MES...

I wonder whether O'Meara is regretting with that tumbling membership rate the offer of a 24,000 redeveloped MES...

    I think so...

I have a sneaking suspicion that O'Meara may not be a person who believes in regrets.
