Two yellow teams on the field?

So it seems not only is the ARU too tight to fund flying Mr Cooper east to ref a neutral game (not that that should be a problem).. But also visiting teams do not have a 2nd strip to play in.. I had a bunch of Rugby Newbies with me yesterday and trying to explain stuff was more then awkward given the flood of gold in front of us..

And where was the Merch stand? How is it we have to basically order jerseys?

I'm getting my broom and calling shenanigans..

Personally, I was surprised by the clarity of the game. I was joking pregame that we wouldnt be able to tell who deserved the penalties, but as it boiled down, it was reasonably clear (in my opinion) during game time.

As for the Merch, I didnt expect any Spirit Merch, but was hopeful to get a stubby holder from the club rooms, but not to be!

I didnt walk far beyond our seating spot and the bar, so cant say if there was other merch available, but it would have paid-off for RugbyWA to just have a table with stubby holders for sale! Im always happy to drop a fiver on a stubby holder if I forgot to take one, and assume the same of most other rugby fans.

Hopefully, as the season progresses, we might see some Spirit stubby holders, stickers and general 'bits' appear for sale at games?
I understand the cost outlay of these products, but if we can get 2000 odd people sitting on a hill watching the game, Id gamble atleast 25% of those wallets coughing up a fiver for a cheap stubby holder or bumper sticker?

As a jersey nerd, the amount of clashes in the competition is giving me an OCD tick!
