Actually I'd rather they didn't make a fuss and just selected her on form.......it doesn't seem like a marketing exercise then.

Plus in her case it isn't just hype. She is a pretty competent ref from what I've seen. Better than Gardiner and Leckie anyway.

NRL have 2 female refs and they are well respected and have reffed some great Holden cup games, 1 is a snr ref Gavin Badgers wife
