Just a heads up, that the Western Force v Rebels match at nib Stadium will start a bit later due to a fixture time change.
The start time has moved from a 7pm Kick Off to an 8pm Kick Off, on Saturday 9 June 2018. Your current tickets are still valid, you just need to take into account the new time.
For further updates, or if you have any queries regarding the time change, please contact Western Force. Details can be found here .
Why is this? Starting to get a little late for the kids/ juniors?
^^ probably to give the Wallabies v Ireland game time to finish
If Ireland show the form they had at the tail end of the 6N they will smash Australia.
Complete performances & so much strength in depth. Typified by the three 13's they used durning the tournamnet, all of whom won man of the match awards.
Leinster won the European cup last weekend... and will probably do so in the Pro 14 next weekend.
Irish rugby very much on the up. Kind of Ironic that 2 of the previous England coaching set up that were replaced by Jones and his team have enjoyed major success in Ireland this year. Lancaster with Leinster, and Farrell with Ireland.
Great game, Fucken battled right through to the 80!
Well it will be bed time for my two little ones.
This has always been my biggest issue with Rugby too, games played at times that don't suit young families, since when was rugby exclusive played at 8pm across the country, they don't even play it that late in New Zealand (7:30pm being the latest)
Anyways its a real shame if we start targetting tye 8pm audience which is usually just the Rugby beer drinking audience mainly situated on the East Coast (which half of em arent even showing up to these games anymore)
Afternoon rugby or 6pm starts thank you very much. Like football and every other sport that doesnt pander to a certain demographic.
Btw ill still go. It will just be me and my brother instead of myself, misses and 2 kids. So two less.
Well it’s obviously been dictated by the Ireland Test match, & I would guess broadcasting clashes had the influence. This will definitely affect families with young kids which is a problem, regardless Force supporters really need to push the attendance up as much as we can as in the first 2 games. If we get a lower crowd guess how the East media are going to jump all over it!
6pm is no good to me, 7:30-8pm much better.
last 6pm kickoff on a friday night was a nightmare to get to.
i sympathize about the kids etc but TBH it doesn't suit either of us.
i am quite suprised at the bad timing of the WSR games considering we don't have to pander to the Eastern states TV (or do we).
cider my arse
I would think that 8PM is good timing for anyone in Club land.
Not good for kids but good mix to be able to have a meal out and about and then onto the game.
Maybe timings are se more by the short time frame leaving little room for negotiation between team availability, broadcast requirements, competing events, drawing interest away and a whole bunch of other stuff.
Perhaps they were painted in a corner

They could consider showing all the tests on the big screens before the match and let everyone in early. And promote the fact in their media.
Japan and the Pacific Islands for Aussie Super 9's!
Let's have one of these in WA! Click this link: Saitama Super Arena - New Perth Stadium?
Hooray, less than a week until game time.
Will get to see some boys returning albeit with an ugly jersey.
Ill say it, The Rebels beat a kiwi team... didnt watch it but i did look up the scorers. Billy Meakes for 2 and 1 to DHP. Be interesting to see who Dave picks.
With 8 Rebels being included in the Wallabies squad for the June Tests, it's going to be interesting to see who gets picked for the game against the WF.
Dave Wessells still has plenty of options in most positions (Jack D at Full Back ??).
16 players (Red) were in the XXIII which had the win against the Blues in Auckland.
