Hopefully serious. Now it's too late to f**k about. Finishing top of the pool is paramount

Still top spot in the pool to play for - do that and you avoid the All Blacks and most likely the Springboks until the final.

    Exactly.

I think the Quarter final opponent would probably be Scotland with a semi final against France or Ireland depending on who tops Pool D (I think).

Good day to rest some niggles however!

Folau with a dodgy foot, Horne with a dislocation (actually, I can't imagine Mitchell would be much of a loss) Giteau with a sternum.....all could do with a game off.

Yeah, it's an interesting call that one. I can't say I'm too worried about who we play in the quarters or the semi, if we're gonna win the world cup, we have to beat everyone anyway. But having said that, I always like to see the Wallabies win every game they play.

On a pleasing side-note, no "Swing Low" was sung at either of the two non-England matches today.

Scotland look likely but Japan still a chance.

And don't underestimate Argentina. They could definitely beat France or Ireland.

Japan need Samoa to knock Scotland off for it to happen, provided the Japanese defeat the yanks.

I would love to see Japan go through!

Little wonder. That sort of disrespect and poor sportsmanship always has the potential to bite you on the arse. Sweet!

I just wish some of pur cricketers could take the hint.
