For those of you who are planning to come to watch any of the grand finals on Sunday (31st August), you should bear in mind that the City to Surf fun run is on that day too, so your usual route to Perry Lakes might need reviewing!
If you normally come along Underwood Ave then, depending on what time you're planning on being on it, you might find you just can't!
Coming from Cambridge Street/Floreat Forum would be my recommendation to youse all. See you there! (I'll be the one dressed as a referee - that should narrow it down for you - come say hello if you want)
what if i come along teh street that passes Challenge Stadium? What is that street called?
Be There. Be Heard. Be The Force Behind The Force
Thanks Ecky- Probably would have been some gratuitous in-car swearing on my part otherwise.![]()
Members of RugbyWA (not EWF) get free entry as well.

Education is Important, but Rugby is Importanter!
free entry!? how do we know if we are members of RugbyWA? how much $$ pay up if not?
Be There. Be Heard. Be The Force Behind The Force
If you area member of RugbyWA you will have paid your $30 or $40 membership at the start of the local season and you would have a membership card.
This is NOT part of your Western Force membership.

I think it's $5 entry? It was a few years back anyway. I just rock up in my ref's outfit and get in without paying......
I've just google mapped the entry gate but it's not clear enought to read what the sign says.
Great planning by Perth to have the City2Surf on the same day as the rugby finals (or vice versa!).
CHEERLEADERS ROCK!!!
the rugby finals were always in September until this year, city to surf always in August
i wanna come
BOKKE“Let me put it this way, A Springbok team contains Afrikaners, Englishmen, coloureds and blacks. It has parochial foes in Bulls, Sharks, Stormers, Cheetahs and Lions. It is a recipe for war! Yet in all the years of John Smit’s captaincy, there has never been one unhappy customer, not one voice of rebellion against his leadership. He is the glue that holds the Springboks together. The man is a legend!”- Jake White
Good Luck Ecky, nice work.
Thanks for the reminder about City to Surf.
I'll check at work tomorrow exactly where is getting blocked off and which will be the best way to get to the ground.
The paper should have maps in it over the next few days but I will get the heads up from the boss tomorrow and pass it on.
