Getting thursty....... and was woundering if there will be the bar tent at the MES..........? No real club rooms there is there........ Hoping they dont serve xxxx !!!! I know they were having trouble with the liquor licencing agreement prior to xmas for the some areas within the stadium.
The Queens and The Brisbane will do well!

There will definitely be large tents for the bars; as per the preseason exhibition held there in 2009 (and as per other events held there).

From what I can gather, their liquor licensing issues centre around the Family Stand only; therefore people in that area "might" not be-able to consume alcohol in their seats; though other area's seem to be fine to my knowledge - even so - they may be-able to seek a temporary license to cover the game, until a permanent license is fulfilled.

I just hope they can get some drinkable beer! It never made much sense to me that they can only serve watered down XXXX, but are fine serving pre-mix bitchfizz.

...even the pre-mix bitchfizz served up is watered down to 'mid strength'.

Assuming that some form of alcohol will be available I wouldn't get too exited about it. If the prices will be the same as are charged at music events then we're all better off having a few beers before and after.

I'm one of those strange creatures that normally doesn't drink when watching a match unless I have to watch it at the pub so it doesn't really bother me one way or t'other. After watching 60 players run around the Arms Park in my younger days I've sort of become a bit more strategic in my drinking habits

Given how much Subi makes on concessions, I would think that getting it right should be a priority. Hopefully RWA has negotiated some sort of appropriate share.

Be an interesting negotiation if they choose to have the Force v England fixture at Subi.
As a one off and knowing how many sweet chariots will be pulling into town it should end up a handy cash injection for the Force.
