Talking New interpretation of laws favour the little Pony Club

New interpretation laws favour the Brumbies. having watched with many this weekend Super rugby has changed. The new interpretation of the laws have opened up the match and return the game to phase play and running rugby. This will add to the Brumbies potency as they attack the Bulls line. South African rugby has always been notoriously slow to change playing style. The question is now the Bulls face a quality opposition have they mad e enough adjustments to their game to win?

Further adding to this problem the Bulls are full strength and have lost 3 of heir starting players.

Strengthen up Brumbies this game can be won and silence the boisterously verbose the Pretoria crowd…

I predict the Brumbies will be broken ponies after 80 minutes being chased by Bulls...

These new interpretations won't worry the Bulls that much, they never played the turnover game too hard. They always went for tall backrows so they could pinch shitloads on lineout ball, sold defensive lines and massive kicking.........That still sounds like a recipe for lots of poins and not too many bonus points.

As long as they keep enough pressure in the ruck so it can't be recycled too quickly it'll be a typically long hard boring Bulls game.

With Giteau doing the tactical kicking and Rocky on a dodgy leg the Brumbies are in for a long night!

I think South Africa should forfeit all home ground rights and play their matches in Australia and New Zealand so they are on at reasonable times of the day

With apologies to Shasta, they aren't spoilers - they are news and we shouldn't hold back.

Brumbies looked very good at times... not a bad run for their first time complete line up for 2010... Too many penalties given... Its a game worth watching if you missed it...

No injuries to talk about which is good. now to the Cape to play the Stormers...

But......hang on.......don't the new interpretations favour the Brumbies?.........what's wrong with you getting all those penalties?

So Muddy have you figured out yet, that the teams with good scavengers such as George Smith, David Pocock, Matt Hodgson, Richard Brown are MORE likely to suffer from an interpretation which makes it harder to scavenge......at least the Force have three who can work in conjunction to make the steal, I don't know how the Brums are going to do it, since George will be the first man to every tackle playing with Hoiles and Elsom.....

I guess if you get 50 points on you next week it'll be the reffing too!

You do what the Reds were doing (or at least attempting to, by the end they were getting very good at it) and you strip the ball from the player while someone else is making the tackle.

I would say that a fair amount of the 'handling errors' attributed to the 'Saders were in fact the Reds nicking the ball from them.
Will Genia was especially good at it.

Yeah, even Rod Kafer's awake to that one now.

We're also beginning to see a lot more holding up in the tackle to give the second man time to get his hands on the ball too. I'm sure it'll evolve, but defences won't just sit back and let the attackers recycle endless quantities of possession... They just need to find the most effective legal way of getting their hands on the ball!

Rocky did that and set up a try... In a couple of weeks the teams will adjust... and the Bulls will have to take their game to the road...
