Here's what you need to know:
    Attachment 5314
I understand there may be some adjustment to Community Rugby fixtures - which non-Prem grade plays when/where - depending upon the actual teams involved.

This have been resolved by now, but likely only published tomorrow.

Some of the origins of those NSW City players are concerning. I hope they are blokes who have moved from the bush otherwise being Shute Shield players from Sydney defeats the purpose of the concept.

Guy Shepherdson is from Canberra not Qld City.

I thought their motto was "FOR CLUB AND COUNTRY", I took that too mean club or country rugby?

Marcus Carbone has played for Piacenza, Alex Gibbon has played fro the Reds and has been in the 7s set-up.

But one name jumped out at me - Tom Court. It's a fairly common name, but there was an Irish prop who played for Ulster and London Irish called Tom Court, and Wikipedia says he was born in Brisbane and played for the Reds before heading off to Europe.

He'd be 37 now, but I wonder whether he's decided to have another run around for old times sake?

According to this article the players picked from Sydney and Brisbane are players who have moved from the country and are now playing in the city.

WANDERERS lock Marcus Christensen and University hooker Dane Le Rougetel have been selected in the Australian Country Stockman side to take on the Western Force next week.

Christensen toured New Zealand, Chile and Argentina with the Stockman at the end of the last season. This is Le Rougetel’s first call up.

They leave Saturday night, play Western Force Under-20s on Monday and the Force senior squad next Saturday after the Perth first grade grand final.

The majority of the squad is made up players from the country who are playing in Brisbane and Sydney.

“It will be a great experience and a level above anything I’ve done,” said Le Rougetel, who played second grade at Manly before joining the Students.

Christensen is one of five survivors from the South American tour.

“We will be training twice a day and be pretty full-on,” he said.

Decent game between Force U19 and the Stockman team. Good preparation for the U19 nationals next month for the Force. Full video of the match here:

    https://www.facebook.com/StockmanRug...type=2&theater

The video shows the final score as 31-19 to the Stockies but the production team goofed - it was actually 36-19 as they didn't tally in Alex Gibbon's second try in the second quarter.

The Stockman side is not too shabby. Some NRC players in there and they had a clear edge in experience and size over the U19 lads. To be fair, you won't begrudge the Stockmen beating the 19s if they're going to play the NRC squad guys layer in the week.

Force U19 took it to them well and had the possession for the first 10-15 minutes without quite being able to cash in for points with a try. Showed good defence too, but they were scored on either side of quarter time as the oppo began to get on top in the scrums.

Score was 24-0 at half time. Subs from both sides came on early 2nd half and the Force lads got back into the game in the third quarter and won the second half by three tries to two (helped by a consolation try on the bell to 7. Carlo Tizzano, who was probably the best on ground for the Force). Other noteables for the Force were winger 23. James Petherick (I think he may have started) with great defence all game, 8. Liam Fletcher with some good runs in the first half. 15. James Hardy went alright as did replacement prop Alex Wilson (?) who firmed up the scrum in the second half.

For the Stockman side, 10. Fred Dorrough was impressive (played NRC for Vikings last year). The guy was everywhere, feeding his back line and always made himself available. Scored a hat-trick and kicked all the goals. Annoyingly, Luke Papworth was good as well. Don't know how closely he is related, but he looks a bit like old Pappy (except plays in the forwards).

Anyway, they should give the Force NRC mob a fair game. Force to still win, though, I would say.

Some players for the Force U19s included:

PR: Lafaele Ikensio, Victor Harris, Alex Wilson
    HK: Jordan Grant, Dylan Hutchins
    LK: Martin Gallagher
    BR: Carlo Tizzano, Liam Fletcher
    SH: Jack Holt
    FH: Tyrese Grey
    CE: Nika Morehu, Jacob Foster-Hall
    WG: James Prtherick, Christophe Cronje
    FB: Jack Hardy
