The PNG Hunters have made the Q Cup grand final in their second season after making the semis in their first.
Now the talk of bringing teams from WA and Fiji into State Cup comps - in preparation for expansion to NRL - is really starting to get traction. In the media at least.
Would you become a member or attend games given that initially it's a second tier gig but one that runs a full season?
For what its worth - I would support a WA based NRL team.
I havent supported a NRL since the NRL ditched the Western Reds.

"Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It’s a very mean and nasty place and I don’t care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard ya hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done! Now if you know what you’re worth then go out and get what you’re worth. But ya gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain’t where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody! Cowards do that and that ain’t you! You’re better than that!" - Rocky Balboa
I could probably do that, depending on cost and schedule.

Those PNG boys are as hard as nails & league is the nations No 1 game. I played for the Kone Tigers in Port Moresby from 81 to 84 so yes I would get a membership and go to games.
I was a Reds fan before, but never a member. I might buy a membership this time around. Honestly though, I would rather there was only one rugby code in Perth, as they might start to cannibalise each other's talent, so I'd hope it's one or the other.

Japan and the Pacific Islands for Aussie Super 9's!
Let's have one of these in WA! Click this link: Saitama Super Arena - New Perth Stadium?
Thats quite possible Todd4, I worked for Remington Office Machines which was opposite the Aviat Club. we used to hang out at the Car Club, the Golf Club, the Squash Club & the Westpac Mess..Oh and the RSL movie nights at Ella Beach..loved my time up there...
Ahhh...the Westpac Mess....was almost sent there but was sent to Alice Springs instead. There was an urban legend of the Westpac mess sending a skyrocket into the Comm Bank Mess and causing a fire.

A great bunch of guys there Gerry, they always had 2 or 3 full size kegs on hand in case we were thirsty. If fact they had the second biggest account in Moresby with the SP Brewery..
