A true champion from a time where winning multiple world titles was a much bigger achievement. Some of those fights including against Fighting Harada, Ruben Olivares and particularly another Aussie, Rocky Gattelari were true epics and still very clear in this old fart's memory. They were real national events at the time with a wide following. Happily Rose was successful in a few endeavors after his boxing career as well.
Well done champ. And well done Burgs -for a man of your tender years remembering that song.![]()
