Sunwolves only played in Singapore to appease the South Africans as flying to Japan from SA was too far. When they join the Australian conference i would be surprised if any games are played in Singapore.

I wouldn't mind popping over to Singa's for a weekend to watch rugby ... sounds fantastic. When Italy joined the 6Nations there was a sellout for their home games, everyone went to Rome for a weekend, but could be expensive if 'er indoors goes shopping!

    Farr-Jones said.

“They feel absolutely shot in the foot about this and a lot of them feel that eastern seaboard people aren’t that sympathetic. And I think it’s really important that a lot of us who have had a profile in the game do express our sympathies and say that we are 100 per cent backing you and supporting you. And, as has been stated many times, I think the ARU has handled this appallingly.”

Almost teared up at this and realised how personal it had become...
Thanks Nick, you are a true statesman and leader

More and more I'm starting to think ot would be great to see the Force in the Japanese Top League. In fact we'd probably go and watch over there. It took me 12 years to see the Force away for the first time, but i'd take the family to Japan in an instant to see them.

Without looking to confirm, it's a fair bit shorter flight than Joh'burg-Heathrow anyway!

Actually Burgs I looked at that a few days back and it's 2-3 hours longer due to there being no direct flights to Tokyo.

    Fair dinkum!?
With all that "same timezone" malarkey you'd assume there would be.
