And you thought The Force had a problem with Firepower!
The England and West Indies Cricket Boards have recently jumped into bed (financially speaking) with a guy called Stanford who has been accused of fraud involving eight billion dollars (yes you heard correctly). The hounds are baying for blood.
Makes our Tim look like a two bit snake oil salesman by comparison.
Actually, that's what he was, I suppose ...
Sorry, can't do Links. See any online newspaper.
Considering he seemed to be the only thing standing between the West Indies and total financial ruin, that's a bit of a worry...

"US regulators don’t know the whereabouts of cricket tycoon Allen Stanford, the Texan billionaire accused of running a “massive, ongoing fraud” through his Houston-based Stanford Group, a US Securities and Exchange Commission official said.
“We don’t know where he is, quite frankly,” said Rose Romero, director of the SEC’s office in Fort Worth, Texas."

No need to go all the way to London to buy a bridge... There's a nice one in Sydney with a pool included, best of all it has "time share options"... great 360 views and better weather... If you're interested, I can introduce you to a few friends who were formally based on the Gold coast who are the project entrepreneurs...
There are a number of high profile sportsmen who are shareholders and are sponsored by the Start up company attending a private BBQ at Kirribilli house next weakened...
If you in town feel free to drop in… you'll like what you see... the Start up company is expected to be listed on the London stock exchange next month and the accounting firm KPWG was doing the financials and the early forecasts are look very promising... It could be a wonderful opportunity...
page 7 of todays west...
Muddie, send me a prospectus. I can't wait!
Sounds like your mates are doing well Muddie, did you meet them while setting up the Giteau sponsorship package for 2010?
The Start up company is growing at such a pace it doesn't have a current prospectus, however to keep their big-hearted shareholders informed they frequently …manufacture, fabricate, no sorry I mean, assemble a company news letter. You can have one of these forwarded to you. The news letter also has stories covering their business associates and their sponsored sportsmen meeting the shareholders and their sporting achievements.
Its a good read and you never know where your next financial opportunity will arise...

"Texas billionaire Allen Stanford has been found in the US state of Virginia and served with civil legal papers from the Securities and Exchange Commission, the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) says.
FBI spokesman Richard Kolko said FBI agents, acting at the request of the SEC, served Stanford papers on Thursday in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
Stanford is not under arrest and is not in custody."
