unfortunately, i tick the geek box too, i am a network engineer by trade but fotunately don't do much work with computers and networks!

hmmm, I would love to be different from the norm but I am sort of a geek too.
Software Consultant to be precise. That means I get paid lots, travel heaps, but don't really have to do much work.

I was thinking it would be interested to know what line of work we all do, You never know when you need a electrician, builder, plumber, tax consultant, etc, etc……..

Currently unemployed... I had been working in a bookstore for 6 months prior to last Friday when my boofhead of a boss decided to fire me basically because I had applied at Borders for a fulltime position. I had an interview with Borders 11 days ago, still waiting to hear if I have made it to the second stage. *cross fingers*
Also have a job interview for a convenice store (sells newspapers, magazines, basic groceries, lottery agent) in about 14 hours time.

Saving quite badly towards a Melbourne (and possibly Brisbane) trip at the end of the year... and if all goes well maybe towards the Adelaide Sevens.
