Wanneroo has not been given the same dispensation as Matt has played eastern states rugby as requested by Rugby WA for all Force players and will continue to do so this weekend. We cant do anything about it but it is strange that Richard is the only guy allowed to play his rugby in Perth. Enough bitching - we will play it as it is - there are 15 guys in a team and we'll give it our best shot like in any other finals.

Are you sure it was requested? As far as I was aware a lot of them just chose to play in the Shute Shield. Fair few have family/friends over east and a fair few are in Wallabies contention.

I thought Swanepoel had played for Cott this year too btw. Didn't the Force bring him over and have him play for Cott in case we had a halfback shortage after JT's stress fractures?

I think Swanny played about 3 games - don't think it was enough to qualify for finals but... Oh well, looks like RugbyWA are shooting themselves in the foot - pretty disappointing to be honest! It's times like these I'm kind of glad i'm getting out of Perth for a while!

Good Morning all, this is my first post, so apologies for being a little forward.

Let us not forget that Cott have beaten the Roo Dogs TWICE this year already, including a 40 point flogging at the Roo Dogs home spot. Will one man change this game beyond all recognition?

Also, in my experience, if a Governing Body says something is going to happen, it usually does with little or no repercussions. The ARU have ultimately rubber stamped this, and I imagine would have a wealth of lawyers and IRB bodies to quash any uprising about 'Browngate' -as it were.
