Richard is cleared to play for Cott so is Swanepoel the 9 - they are flying both back for the finals. Thats life in Perth rugby so complaining wont help we'll just deal with it. The challenge is a bit bigger but still possible to achieve a good result if we turn up to play.

I've been advised that nothing can be done! the ARU expects him to play so he will. He has not played any club rugby this year so apparently he can play for who ever he chooses - our committee says they can't do anything about it so wont follow it up any further.

The ARU & Deans requested Brown play club rubgy this weekend. Brownie chose to play it in Western Australia as opposed to the eastern states comp.
RugbyWA have given a special dispensation to Cottesloe so that he can indeed play for them this weekend.
Wanneroo were given the same dispensation to allow Matt Hodgson to play
I guess Brown appears to be doing the right thing by his chosen state and local club and is following the the regulations as presented to him - what else is a player to do?
Not sure what Matty is up to this weekend or how much opportunity he has been given? Any Wanneroo folk care to shed some light?

Wanneroo has not been given the same dispensation as Matt has played eastern states rugby as requested by Rugby WA for all Force players and will continue to do so this weekend. We cant do anything about it but it is strange that Richard is the only guy allowed to play his rugby in Perth. Enough bitching - we will play it as it is - there are 15 guys in a team and we'll give it our best shot like in any other finals.
