Good on Lote I say. We rubbish Lote a lot for anything from bad form to bad off field behaviour to being overpaid. But his consideration tonight is worthy of a lot of praise. Especially because of the marked improvement in behaviour since last year. He deserves a bit of a pat on the back.

Agreed James. I give credit to and thank Lote for this. He didn't play too well but he helped Gits and that makes him a good egg this game.

Yes Gits did walk back across the oval at half time and about 10 minutes later when the boys came out for the second half, he was back. Then after the game he walked off with the boys and gave a wave too.

Extremely relieved he is ok...sickening to watch. But that thumbs up from the stretcher made me

As i have said before, the exact same thing happened to me whe i played in Sydney, and it was both my opposition and teammates who rendered first aid immediatley, and Lote should be absolutely commended for his actions, and his general gamesmanship across the board tonight, well done Lote...
Chook, don't cheer yourself...Dumbarse....Still, imust admit you made me smile though, and not losing your curly locks must be a relief...
I thought we might struggle a little after Gits left but Mackay stood up and played well, and if we had a bit more luck and used the awesome amount of ball we had a bit better then we could have seen a better result...
And Gerry, they showed Gits walking back on at halftime, and at the end of the match having a chat to Palu i think...
Disappointed, but i believe we are not finished just yet, we actually looked quite threatening for 75% of the match, Tahs defence was just unbelievable...

Moses and chook do get us gigs, you have to admit they do put up with an awful lot of crap from us and imho they deserve thier moment in the sun for now, these two guys are top blokes and have great senses of humour, and even though sometimes they border on inflammatory they usually are tongue in cheek, so lay off them fellas, i for one am over it...

That's what I was thinking at the time as well main game, especially with his hands sticking up like that it could well have been spinal. I'm a bit rusty on first aid it must be said, however from my memory if he is breathing and has a pulse he should be left absolutely still when there's suspicion of spinal injury until trained medical staff arrive.

Lote's best course would have been to get Sharon there quicker, unless he wasn't breathing or didn't have a pulse, in which case he shouldn't have left him lying there....
