We as a group of Western Force supporters would be arrogant in the extreme to think that we are better then all others and I believe that we should welcome our brother rugby fans with open arms and beers all round

From personal experiance, the need to express public admoration for the "other" team has been curbed through the support and PROBING (Happy will get that one) of The EnFORCER and others, and gentle persuasion boarding on threats of physical mishap of the "other" jersey ( Hence it is only worn in the safety and security of a dark closet).

But, you all seem to be such nice people, so you have to say that rugby wins - but for me it has to be the Force.

Can't see the harm in giving basic information about who you support general location etc. But I doubt it should be mandatory. Internet sites on the web attract all sorts just like usenet groups. Some people just don't want to disclose anything and some of those are "trolls" - fishing for a bite.

I see your point, but if you run a site, surely you can choose what "minimum" info is required before that member becomes "active". This of course does not stop idiots from putting untrue or irrelevent info in those fields but does establish some basic backgrounds etc
