Watching the Force!
Penalty followed by penalty.
May the FORCE be with you!
Only 23 mins and just about to switch channels when Wells grabs a try..14-24.
14 - 29 at half time![]()
Gees hope we can sort it out before our first match on the 25th!
What the F*** is the penalty count.
Do I still buy my membership after this.
Well of course I will but we could be in for a very long season.

The outcry over Ardie Savea's "threat to kill" Ryan Louwrens. It's obvious he was just saying he needed to draw breath into his lungs. So sir gave him 10 minute rest to do so.

"Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It’s a very mean and nasty place and I don’t care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard ya hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done! Now if you know what you’re worth then go out and get what you’re worth. But ya gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain’t where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody! Cowards do that and that ain’t you! You’re better than that!" - Rocky Balboa
Agree but seems like it’s going to be flogged for all it’s worth 🙄
So will they be stopping the ABs from doing the throat slitter in case that offends someone.
May the FORCE be with you!
I thought Nick McCardle was disappointing in his grilling of Jordie Barrett about the Ardie Savea "Incident".
It really was unnecessary.

The abs have already modified that (not sure if it's only against Oz) they start under the armpit and draw the thumb diagonally across the chest.Gotta admit, I'm not a fan, it carries a different meaning here than it does there and cultural sensitivity is a big thing right now. I think it does come close to a red card, but it's more about disrespecting the refs decision than about making a threat. That being said, the way the games going, the old fashioned square up is becoming an increasingly risky comment.I thought the canes coach said it well, are we going to talk about the rugby or not?

The thing I noticed was the way he made a bee-line for Louwrens with a personal and very genuine looking apology post-match; not what he said on-camera.
If it happened on the local park that's where it would have stayed. But in this on-line world of the serially offended.......

I mean it didn't happen in club rugby and savea accepted that.
I thought the apology was genuine
