Why will it be a nightmare? No-one apart from Claire Moodie at the ABC has had any guts to say anything about how bloody appallingly the Rat’s Arse has treated WA so why should they start now? No-one, not a single person, apart from us gives a shit about how they have destroyed professional rugby in WA. They have all looked the other way like they pathetic selfish greedy limp dicks they are. And the Rat’s Arse know they are completely Teflon coated so behave like they are totally above any law or moral code on the face of the earth.

This could actually be a really good idea. The IPRC could do business with WA Rugby in it's new form, as a new independent entity.

Bakkies I’ve sent an email request to podcast the interview but not sure how successful I’ll be.

Alison - I agree! Very hypocritical too knowing Pulver identified one of the problems with the Force finances was the cost of players being flown out of state to away games. Yet they are flying many staff half way across the world.

I am not sure how will it work with the current clubs that are registered and I presume pay a fee to Rugby WA to be able to participate in their respective competitions. Hansie will be able to confirm this and speaking of him he said that they haven't ruled out going independent.

I thought they did quite a bit. Used a lot of Linda's speech. Maybe I was looking at something different. It's this story.

Western Force axing: Senate call for ARU probe
    Nick Taylor

A parliamentary inquiry into the axing of Western Force from Super Rugby has called on corporate watchdog Australian Securities and Investment Commission to investigate deals made by Rugby Australia and the Melbourne Rebels.
A Senate inquiry into the future of the sport in Australia also recommended the WA Government seek legal advice and review evidence on assurances given to them by the ARU when they committed almost $100 million to develop nib Stadium and build rugby headquarters.
The committee said the decision to remove the Force was effectively made on April 9 this year, four months before it was finally culled after a long legal battle mounted by RugbyWA. The Rebels were saved.
The report, tabled yesterday, made eight recommendations to strengthen accountability and called on the Australian Sports Commission to adopt new principles on player welfare.
WA Liberal Senator Linda Reynolds, who led the inquiry, launched a blistering attack on Rugby Australia — the new name of the ARU — in the Senate yesterday.
