was an incredible game! the boks were not the same team as the team who beat the allblacks last weekend by no means... if we had played that team it would have been a dfferent story.

drew should have got more time, aac should be banned from wearing a number 15 ever again!
crossy was pure class, that guy is really wonderful!

“Let me put it this way, A Springbok team contains Afrikaners, Englishmen, coloureds and blacks. It has parochial foes in Bulls, Sharks, Stormers, Cheetahs and Lions. It is a recipe for war! Yet in all the years of John Smit’s captaincy, there has never been one unhappy customer, not one voice of rebellion against his leadership. He is the glue that holds the Springboks together. The man is a legend!”- Jake White

Drew Mitchell was on for a total of about 44 seconds. Coops was good but Mitchell should have got a longer run than that.

I'll write more later...too cold now.

and crossy outplayed him when he came on as well!
gits for captain, stirlo off the bench. cross starting
mortlocks head was hit by bakkies shoulder in a tackle .... bakkies lined him up from mortlocks blind side

ahaha you werent sitting anywhere near 210 then.. i think that entire end of subi knew and im suprisingly still able to talk
44 seconds was not enough. i except him on the field in either 14 or 15 on the weekend. hynes made some telling tackles, but otherwise i barely saw him and aac nearly brought tears to my eyes... drew would have been better than both i would expect.

    Outstanding win by the Wallabies!

    Well Done!

Tactically astute and absolutely superb on the ground.

Good call Gerry- Hoodoo my arse.
Ref was Bryce Lawrence - a kiwi. Both TJ's/AR's were also kiwis.

He was pretty good, imho. I had Sports Ears but the batteries ran out with about 10 to go. His communication with the players was pretty interesting - a bit condescending sometimes but generally very effective. Some crucial calls from his AR's helped him too - a great example of the "Team of 3" that us ref-types talk about ad nauseum.

I watched it on SKY and they replayed a bit and from what I saw Bakkies Botha smashed into him off the ball (but not far from a ruck) while he was on the ground. No surprises there. Whether or not that was what dazed him I'm not sure but it can't have helped. Given he didn't spend long on the ground I'd have thought at worst I'd be a mild concussion. Should be fit for next week or if not the week after.

Interestingly in rugby365.com's for villian of the match they wrote: None, we hope....
Perhaps they saw what I saw.
