north sydney didnt volunteer to go to the central coast, they decided to go before any of this crap happened, and invested the future of the club in getting the stadium built, we were given a handshake agreement that us doing so meant we would be pretected from the culling of teams, then when the stadium went a season over in its construction time it sent norths broke and the nrl sold them out!

By volunteering I meant that they are still saying that they will move to the Central Coast. They were shafted royaly by the NRL

yeah, norths are pretty much bitches these days.

central coast only have a killer stadium due to the bears & plus norths have spent a fortune on there junior comps and included the central coast in the north shore comp.

but there is a groundswell of support now to ditch the bears name and colours if the coast get in and start a new team from nothing. absolute crap!

yeah, we were feeding manly, but signed with souths a couple of years ago!

The discussion was sponsors, hence the full name. Most folk indeed just call them the Force.

nah, on here there referred to constantly as the EWF, i think you would find that the above image you posted was the waratahs website, hsbc get branding on that cos they pay for it and its run for the business that is a professional rugby side.

i have never heard any punter call the tahs the HSBCWARATAHS or a reds supportor call them the QR reds, its what the club does in order to get checks!

Even from the lowest country rugby teams, if someone sponsors your teams you support the sponsor.

I want a limo to each home game supplied by emirates! if its good enough for some one flying business class with them, its good enough for a silver Emirates Western Force member (wish full thinking) but I'd be happy with decent beer at the games ... either one

referring to your team as its sponsored name only undermines your post in another thread that says the force were named after the fan support. why not just call them western emirates are offering cheap fares this weekend?
who in club rugby refers to there teams as its sponsor?
my team and the teams i play in y comp usually go by the town nicname or the team emblem.

yeah, we have speaches and drinks after every home game at the pub that suports us.

but i dont go round calling my team the "hornsby inn lions"

i said earlier, if you wanna support your sponsor fly on them, but dont sell out your team! all the crap about giteau leaving is the same thing, your selling individuals and businesses ahead of the actual team, brand "The Force" not an airline or individuals!
