Flamethrower should be impressed - a conspiracy theory proposed by Mosses - Deans wants a match fit, Crossy to develop a combination with Rathbone - and survive the East Sydney Experience with damage only to his signing hand (autograph hunters !)

Sounds so plausible it could be rouse - really Deans wants Crossy to be aducted by aliens so that he does not have to make a hard selection choice of Mortlock over Crossey and hear about any more Sydneysiders debate the pros and cons of Smith versus Waugh for Wallabies captaincy.

Go forth and conquer the Easts Crossy - do it with good grace and everyone will love you.

Sarcasm Jess, and possibly irony, never bitterness. Revenge is better than bitterness, though you sometimes have to wait a while for it.

And , no, not one Force player has crossed our threshold so far this year.

You obviously know SFA about the standard of the WA Grade comp Moses. It's not comparable the Shute Shield.

Apparently my point requires further explanation. The WA Grade comp is as far behind the Shute Shield as the Force are behind the Waratahs.

Ryan Cross wary of club rugby return
    AAP
    June 19, 2008 10:00am

ROBBIE Deans has gained rave reviews for ensuring Australian players are seen at club level, but Ryan Cross is waiting to give his unqualified support.

Cross is one of seven Wallabies reserves that coach Deans has released to clubland on Saturday. He is set to debut for Sydney's Eastern Suburbs after completing a hasty temporary transfer from University of WA.

The Perth-based league convert is pleased to see some action in the Shute Shield, but unsurprisingly remains wary about the risks of lining up against Gordon at Chatswood Oval.

I'm surprised that RugbyWA allowed it to happen.

this is a bit late to comment on.
but Burgs, you say that like Rugby WA would have been given a choice in the matter

Read it again, mate. You might get it.
Perhaps I'll label my next one with a sarcasm label for you, Mose.
