Crowd figures

I was really happy with the crowd last night! there was no jeering that I could here and they all somewhat supported the somoans as well, when they finally got there try! It was great fun

No no, I was just saying that Friday crowds tend to be less than Saturday crowds, people rushing to games after work, etc.

Opening game of the season, I'd expect a packed house.

I know a few people who didn't renew membership after last season, but will still go to games but take their chances on ticket sales just before each game. I am one of 'em but have access to a corporate box for a lot of games, so took out Out-Of-Towners. If i ain't in the box I'm still going to the game but.

I reckon 25,000+ Friday night.

Probably blame the heat and the long weekend. I wouldn't be too concerned.

Would members equity even hold 17,000? The ground looked quite full to me.

According to Aussie Stadiums website the capacity is 17,288 but the highest for the last 4 years is only 14K

So if you "quite like" the Force then why are you finding every opportunity to bash them at present......don't want to get into an argument but there is a definite theme appearing in your recent posts. Maybe a moderator on a Western Force supporters site should show a little more respect for said forum and purpose. Just a thought.

True, my back's been up a little since I got back from holiday's, I'll just have to do less retaliating to the bait thrown my way and more moderating of said posts.

I would be hoping for +30k on Friday, first match of the year and the prospect of our first home win.
Bloody better be anyway as I'm currently in doubt for Round 4

I can tell you that the crowd for that Trial match was easily above 10k IMO...My reasons is i am always at Memebrs Equity for Perth Glory games and we had a crowd of 9,900 midway through the season and i can tell you now that no way in hell was the ground packed as much as it was for the force trial game.

The Glory Stand (Eastern Stand) was virtually full apart from the end block on either side and underneath was full also...The Grandstand side was full and the Shed was 3/4 full and the terraces were almost 1/2 full.

It was about 12k in my books at the trial game.....Maybe they didnt include free tickets in the figure?
