Red Army Steering Committee meeting for first time this week.

What is the Red Army Steering Committee?

It is a group of RL mad fans who will be forming the Red Army supporters group. 1st aim will be to mobilize RL fans in WA to get behind the bid and help in whatever way we can acheive our aim of getting an NRL team in Perth. 2nd aim will be to become the supporters group for the WA Reds when we enter the NRL in 2013.

There is disagreement which to build first, the Government wants the East Stand first, clubs want corporate focussed West stand. Build starts ing 6-9 months.

I'll probably get a contract with the reds because I don't keep track of my lifting stats; but, I will tell you that I have amazing cardiovascular endurance, and I have so much heart on the field.

I have so much speed and agility it's not even funny. I'm a 1st degree blackbelt, and I have over 2000 hours of sparring. For seven years, I trained tae kwon doe.

Shame they can't buy/bulldoze the tennis club and turn that into a big Members Bar with extended hours, like 3-4 both pre and post match.
Hire it out for functions when not in use.

From the Red Army

The first steering group meeting for the Red Army happened tonight. We have a committed bunch of passionate WA RL fans now ready to make this supporters group happen.

Our priorities are:
1. Get the warzone website updated
2. Set up a membership database (membership will be free)
3. Get a logo and membership flyer designed

we will then start recruiting, planning social events, looking at merchandise, promoting WA Reds membership etc.

Anybody becoming a WA Reds member will soon also become a Red Army member

We are looking for some assistance. If you are a good artist or good with photoshop we would love to hear from you. We need help designing a logo and membership flyer

We are also looking for someone with web design skills who can help us relaunch our Red Army website with better graphics, content, ability to sign up for membership etc.
