Couldn't find the previous thread about it so figured I'd start a new one.
I'm on the Optus Stadium mailing list for Premium Hospitality, the Springboks have been confirmed for August 29 this year and the All Blacks will be returning to Perth in 2021 with no date locked in yet.

Wonder if the WA Govt has paid them in advance. Bet that was one of the conditions RA would have wanted as they are desperate for cash.
Proudly Western Australian; Proudly supporting Western Australian rugby
might have to try and make it to Perth for the 2021 Bledisloe.

South Africa confirmed for Wallabies clash at Optus Stadium
Interesting line in The West story.

The Wallabies will clash with World Rugby champions South Africa at Optus Stadium later this year, before the All Blacks touch down in 2021.
Rugby Australia officially announced the two matches today, with the Springboks game, as revealed by The West Australian two months ago, to be staged on August 29.
The Bledisloe Cup clash against the All Blacks will follow in 2021.
“Locking in these two great rugby union rivalries is good news for our State's tourism industry,” Tourism Minister Paul Papalia said.
“Both South Africa and New Zealand are in WA's top five countries of birth, so we're expecting lots of local expats to jump at the chance to see these games.”
The State Government had been in negotiations with RA to get the Webb Ellis Cup holders, who beat England 32-12 in the World Cup final in Japan, to Perth for the first time in three years.
They paid $5m for last August’s Bledisloe however it is understood they will pay only about $1 million for the Mandela Plate game.
“The Wallabies-Springboks match will be the world-champions' only visit to Australia in 2020, providing a real drawcard for ex-pats from around the country to visit Perth for the clash,” Sports Minister Mick Murray said.
“People voted with their feet at Perth's first Bledisloe Cup last year, and we're looking forward to building on that terrific success with the follow up in 2021.”
The Test between Australia and the All Blacks was due for Adelaide Oval but talks between RA and the South Australian Government broke down over the cost of the rights to game.
RA put Perth top of their Test wish list after a financial windfall from the record Optus Stadium crowd of 61,241 that saw Australia beat the All Blacks 47-26 in a boilover win.
RA, expected to post a $5.5 million loss this year, is reviewing the 2020-25 Test schedule and must find a home for the Bledisloe because of the $2 billion overhaul of Sydney’s stadiums.
Australia and South Africa have played nine times in Perth since 1998 with the Wallabies winning four, the Springboks three and two draws.
They last played in September 2017 at the now HBF Park, a 23-23 draw in front of a crowd of 17,528.
The previous eight matches were at Subiaco Oval.
Seeing as RA said there is no backing for rugby in WA and then they put 3 very high profile matches on in Perth one can definitely say that they are one way or another totally incompetent and I don’t believe they could prove anyone wrong!
May the FORCE be with you!
Not to mention the fact that they schedule a test in a 60,000 seat stadium when the same match up didn't fill a 21,000 seat stadium

Agree with this 100%
This isn't Rugby Australia being generous and trying to support Rugby in WA. This is Rugby Australia being desperate for venues given both SFS and ANZ Stadium are unable to host events for the next couple of years, also not wanting to over saturate other markets such as Brisbane with a Test every week.
I'd like to know what the WA State Government paid for the rights to host another Bledisloe.
How can RugbyWA get an increased grant from RA if RA has no money?
Selling to the highest bidder only works if the bidders are willing to pay the price.
Why didn't the Bledisloe and the Test with the Current World Champs go to Melbourne?
The Victorian Government pays for Sporting events all the time.
Rugby Australia has a hard-on for all things Victorian and has done so for 4 plus years.
IF RugbyAustralia wanted to completely kill off Rugby in WA then ensuring no Test matches in WA would be a great way to do it. Having Top Tier Tests in Perth (purchased or not) is still a good thing for a Rugby in Western Australia.

Perth to host rugby world champions and second Bledisloe Cup

Wallabies to play world champion Springboks at Optus Stadium in 2020
Perth's second Bledisloe Cup to follow in 2021
Rugby union matches set to attract visitors and generate millions for economy
Sponsored by the State Government through Tourism WA
Two of rugby union's powerhouse nations will take on Australia's Wallabies at Optus Stadium over the next two years thanks to a deal struck by the State Government, through Tourism WA and Rugby Australia.
On August 29, Australia will take on South Africa in South Africa's only match on Australian soil in 2020. The game is expected to attract thousands of rugby fans from around Australia eager to see the Rugby World Cup champions in action against the Wallabies.
And the Bledisloe Cup is expected to pull another blockbuster crowd in 2021 at Optus Stadium when the Wallabies take on the New Zealand All Blacks.
Perth hosted its first-ever Bledisloe Cup in August last year at Optus Stadium, when the Wallabies scored a sensational victory over their rivals.
The game created a new attendance record of more than 61,000 for a sporting match at Optus Stadium, with close to 7,400 visitors travelling to Perth for the historic event and pouring more than $12.5 million into the Western Australian economy through visitor spend.
Both South Africa and New Zealand have significant expat populations in WA, with the opportunity to visit friends and relatives and watch world-class rugby expected to be a big motivator for people to travel to the State.
Both the Wallabies versus Springboks game and the Bledisloe Cup will be televised live into New Zealand and South Africa and a number of Tourism WA's key international markets.
Comments attributed to Tourism Minister Paul Papalia:
"Locking in these two great rugby union rivalries is good news for our State's tourism industry.
"Both South Africa and New Zealand are in WA's top five countries of birth, so we're expecting lots of local expats to jump at the chance to see these games. We're also encouraging them to invite their friends and family to visit them in Perth and combine a family catch-up with some world-class rugby.
"When we last hosted the Bledisloe Cup here, the total spend by visiting rugby fans for that event alone was more than $12.5 million, so locking in two Rugby Championships events is an incredible win for the State in terms of supporting small businesses and jobs."
