I am locked into my Telstra/ Fox $165p/m package for Broadband/phone/Foxtel&sport for another 6 months. Eighteen months ago it was an attractive package, but I am paying too much now. I am determined not to lock into anymore long term contracts in future.

    Has anybody tried Kayo ?
I only know one person who trialed it, but he said was too slow with spooling interruptions all the time.
Hopefully they solve that in the next 6 months and he (and I) have NBN. Also where I can watch GRR.

We also went to cancel our Foxtel and they gave us an offer, we currently pay about $60 per month for a sports package which you get a couple of other channels, but there was so much repetitive crap on the other channels along with the ads that we don’t miss it. Netflix, Stan, SBS & downloading movies is much better quality. Have heard RugbyPass is good?

    Hi Valzc,

RugbyPass get poor reviews in Australia on their own Facebook site. So I hope GRR have not tied up exclusively with them.

Watching Try time in Kyushu and seeing Nathan Sharpe shirtless in a thermal hot bath..probably enough to give Hertryk a cardiac arrest

If not, I'll be using whichever service does
Not touching Kayo until it has a true test of its streaming abilities once the NRL and AFL starts.

I note you don't mention superficial rugby in that post.

You don't think the extra 37 people will hurt streaming rates?

When Super Rugby games are out rated by the NRL under 20's I don't think I'll need to worry about it.

Kayosports does look good though. But with Mobdro, acrossthetasman, and rojadirecta.me available all for free, why bother.

If I was to pay for a streaming sports service I would definitely consider kayosports

They host the Superugby on it's own server, a 486SX running windows3.11 so they surely wont affect the AFL and NRL traffic, and it never skips a beat

The problem with streaming sites is matches that are played overnight and reliability of internet service.

That's why Acrossthetasman and Rojadirecta allow downloads of games in SD or HD , then you just watch them the next day at whatever time you want.

Reliability can be a problem for streams, but between Mobdro (which is usually really good) you have sites like cricfree.sx and crichd.sx which allow you to stream all the sporting sites and act as genuine backups for Mobdro. Until Rugby gets with the times and allows direct packages to stream individual tournaments for a fee eg. Gamepass and NRL, V8 super cars and AFLs livepass streaming services, rugby will forever be a total ratings flop. No one wants a year cable TV subscription just to watch the shitshow dished up in Superugby.

Across the Tasman only just starting accepting invites so a lot of lapsed and can’t be used.

It is not easy to catch up on games I have got a bunch that haven’t been watched.

Took my 16 week old German Shepherd for his first trip to the park, obviously had to wait for him to be fully vaccinated.
