Those of you who are not part of the DeleteFacebook movement will know that on the Sea of Blue Facebook page we have been promoting what we are calling the ‘Roaming Sea of Blue’ for the 2018 community rugby season.
It is one of a number of ideas aimed at getting non-aligned sea of blue fans more involved in community rugby, whether in a playing, volunteering or spectator capacity. The aim is to try and keep our game strong and our pathways intact despite not having a SuperRugby team anymore.
We will be pitching up at a different club throughout the season and hope that as many people as possible come and join us each week.
The ‘fixture’ list is attached.
We kicked off the season at Wanneroo last weekend and are heading to Joondalup this weekend for their local derby game.
Would be great to see you there!
Proudly Western Australian; Proudly supporting Western Australian rugby
A great idea
Well done.

"Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It’s a very mean and nasty place and I don’t care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard ya hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done! Now if you know what you’re worth then go out and get what you’re worth. But ya gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain’t where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody! Cowards do that and that ain’t you! You’re better than that!" - Rocky Balboa
Hoping to make it up to Joondalup on Saturday
Great job, and how about some reverse marketing and get some of the Sea Of Blue that don't know about TWF to get on board here as well.

Education is Important, but Rugby is Importanter!
Joondalup v Wanneroo is a great pick for this round, if I had a choice it's the game I would watch. Also the food at Joondalup is probably the best there is around the grounds![]()
I'll pop along to watch a few matches![]()
No referee in living memory has ever been able to referee a game and watch it at the same time.
Not even Nigel Owens.

You give me too much credit. I will be there in my official capacity of perusing the referees in the middle, and providing them with pearls of wisdom pertaining to their performance.
Spectators, of course, do this week in/week out, but I get actual access to the referees and the opportunity to formally report.
On occasion the odd note is welcomed - preferably Australian currency,
At rugby venues I prefer the beer economy,
Good to catch up with a few people yesterday The game was exciting with a last minute win to the hosts
Good to see a smattering of SOB at Arena![]()
