I expect that many on this forum have recently received emails from ARU/RA promoting the sale of tickets to the 3 tests to be played against Ireland in June.
Attendances at previous tests against Ireland in Australia have been
Date Location Attendance June 2003 Subiaco 39,787 Nov 2003 Docklands (RWC) 54,206 June 2006 Subiaco 38,200 June 2008 Docklands 41,700 June 2010 Lang Park 45,498
Ticket sales are said to be slow, especially in Melbourne, and in spite of an approximately 10% reduction in the price of tickets for the Ireland tour.
The test against Ireland in Melbourne will be played at AAMI Park, which has a capacity of 30,050; that capacity is lower than the attendances at each of the 5 previous tests against Ireland in Australia since 2003.
Go figure.

I get no emails from the RA even though I am a past player and have used a Rugby ID to purchase tickets. Other unions and the Barbarians send me regular ticket news.
When did tickets go on sale in Australia to the general public? Not sure how many have been kept for packages from Ireland. Trevor Brennan is definitely bringing a tour group out.

I unsubscribed from Rugby Australia emails when the Force were killed last year.
Probably why I didn't know any of this pre-sale stuff.
They keep emailing me stuff I don't want, I keep trying to unsubscribe but their mailing system tells me that my email address is not valid.
