The ARU/RA has announced the home fixtures for the Wallabies in 2018.
Not surprisingly, there are no Wallabies matches scheduled for Perth in 2018 - I think that was the expectation even before the Force were culled.
The only future Wallabies fixture scheduled for Perth is the Bledisloe Cup match in 2019, for which privilege Tourism WA is paying the sum of AUD 5 million to ARU/RA.
In light of the following (and the hostile reaction in WA to the axing of the Western Force)
http://www.abc.net.au/news/2017-11-3...k-hole/9211704, Tourism WA may have to get used to the idea that the 2019 Bledisloe will be played in a less than half-full Optus Stadium - that would be a poor return for the 5 million of WA taxpayers' money and not a good look on international TV.

The WA State Government should see if the Victorian Government want to take it off their hands. After all they stole our Rugby side so why the Test Fixture as well.
The ARU won't be seeing a single cent of my money and I hope many others on TWF feel the same.
An All Blacks vs South Africa game might be a good fixture for Perth.
Japan and the Pacific Islands for Aussie Super 9's!
Let's have one of these in WA! Click this link: Saitama Super Arena - New Perth Stadium?

On the topic of rego fees and levies towards the RA this is an interesting article from ex ARU Chairman Peter McGrath. Would be curious to see what each club in WA has to fork out to the union.

did you play anything other than touch?
It is quite possible that the WA Government has tried to get the ARU/RA to move the 2019 Bledisloe test from Perth and return the million dollars which Tourism WA has already given to them - in which case, the ARU/RA has probably said "Nothing doing, we have a contract and you (the WA Government) owe us the remaining 4 million dollars.".
I think Roy Masters was right when he said "No top international team comes to an Australian capital city without some investment from a state government.".
I seem to recall someone in the new WA Government questioning the return on the money which Tourism WA has been spending for Wallabies test matches in Perth and indicating that the money might be better spent in other areas of tourism development.
