August 16, 2010
WALLABIES winger Cameron Shepherd is in doubt for the tour of South Africa after a hamstring strain ruled him out of Northern Suburbs' 33-30 loss to Randwick at North Sydney Oval on Saturday.
Shepherd will be assessed by the Wallabies medical team today when he joins the squad for its final training camp in Sydney before flying out to South Africa on Friday.
If he is unavailable to tour, his place will go to one of three players training with the Australian Sevens squad - Nick Cummins, Lachie Turner or Pat McCabe.
Shepherd was the only casualty reported from the Wallabies' rest week.

Poor buger has 2 kinds of luck and I wouldnt want either!
You have to start wondering wether he is a worth keeping on the books.
Dont get me wrong I think he's great when he's fit but there not many of those at the moment especialy during the Super 14/15 season.
May the FORCE be with you!
I think definitely walked under a ladder while breaking a mirror in the path of a black cat.
Not sure, did he used to room with MacKay?

there was a recent study that found that over 80% of professional rugby players get a game affecting injury during a single season..
Sheps does seem to be getting a little more than average but over the course of his career? you'll probably find he is about average if you take away the leg break.
jesus... you gotta feel for him hey.
If he didn't have bad luck, he'd have no luck.....bugger
