SportFM 91.3 apology for the Brumbies match

Sadly I have to report that SportFM is unable to broadcast the opening game of the season.

Due to the cramped nature of ME Stadium and a requirement to allow a Canberra based radio station to broadcast the game we have been denied a commentary position.

It was suggested we called the match off-tube however we have decided this serves little purpose as there is still radio coverage available elsewhere.

We have been promised a commentary position at all other home games and will provide commentary from NZ and Queensland as promised.

We are fully aware the Rugby public looks to SportFM 91.3 to provide consistency in its coverage which we hope we'll be able to provide for the rest of the season.

ABC - and yes we are in discussions to try and re-broadcast their call, I'll keep you updated.
