Congratulations go to the Socceroos for proving that dreams can come true!
Once they get through celebrating the night away, Australia's premier soccer players will wake up to the realisation that they have a chance to perform on the biggest sports stage in the world for the first time in their lifetime.
An inspirational game for all sports lovers and surely the tonic that the Wallabies are chasing to turn their fortunes around this weekend.
Well done boys and well done Sydney for the incredible show of support throughout the match.
Go the Green and Gold!!!
Ahh the celebrations won't last too much longer - they will soon realise that they have no hope in hell of actually doing well there.
They said much the same about Cameroon at Sydney Olympics Chiefy, let them have their time in the sun and you never know, they might just cause a few upsets.
There's going to be increased competition for Rugby against soccer now, however Super 14 and APC should lift the popularity of The Game Played In Heaven. Can't wait for Rugby in 2006! Bring It!
I reckon both Soccer and Rugby Union are going to get one hella va media hype over the next 12 months - AFL prepare for the squeeeeeeze! The feeding trough is going to get full!![]()

Brother Gallagher I hear you
Was a memorable match indeed....With myslef being a part og the Green and Gold Army it meant everything to me...
Our group is tough though...BRAZIL, Croatia and Japan
We can Beat Japan and Croatia but Brazil is a different sotry...I think we can finish 2nd in the group though and advance further!
Nah sorry Pete, can't quite see Socceroos beating Japan and Croatia, they are pretty strong teams and are ranked about 30 places higher than socceroos. If they do win it will be a big upset.
No hope in hell of beating Brazil...
Japan arent that flash...Only reason they wont so well in 02 was the home crowd supportOriginally Posted by Chief
Go socceroos! Even though I greatly dislike the game....
