Ups and downs in the UK

Much like the action in Beijing, it has been a week of highs, lows and more highs on our tour of the UK.

Starting with a first run in months, and a win for the team, a personal injury blow looked set to end my tour before it had really even begun.

Playing against Newcastle, in pretty awful conditions, I felt the dreaded click in my knee just before half time, and after coming off it looked like I was coming home early.
