why do we persist with deciding contracts during the middle of the super 14 season? Surely we could work them out after the wallabies season...

Can anyone tell me the following

• who are we left to sign this year
• who's leaving this year
• who's out of contract next year
• who do we have signed for 2011

If Drew doesn't sign it will leave the door open for some new blood. It will also mean that we could just get someone that is a bit better on defence

Cowan, JOC, Brown must be convinced to sighn at all cost
Sare & Valentine will hopefully sign they have improved with leaps and bounds
Spanner is of to Japan I think
Pelasasa has not impressed at all so far

2008 Academy
Dane Haylett-Petty, Kieran Longbottom, Brent Murphy will be a good sign as well
Sitaleki Timani ??? do not know much about him

2009 Academy
Ben Whittaker, Tom Murday, Justin Turner, Siosefo Manu

Both Cowan and JOC don't need to re-sign as they are both on 2 year with get out clause contracts. As long as they don't sign on with anyone else all is good. Same applies to AJ.

Spanner is almost 100% for being released a year early and going to Japan. If he stays there is nothing to sign and if he goes its because the Force let him.

Pusey is also very likely to move on. He hasn't been given much game time in the last two years and can get more money in Japan.

Looking forward to seeing who comes into the academy for 2010/apprentice contracts.

Sitaleki Timani ??? do not know much about him

He's at the Brumbies this season, how long did he sign for MS? He played on the bench think weekend but can't remember any other occasions. He looks alright.

We need a prop and a hooker and a 1st 5/8 for 2010. We may lose a few but there will be alot fringe players that will come to the Force to get game time. Dont be surprised to see Beale here next season also Frier and Dunning.

OH MY GOD!!!!!! anything but that!

Beale is a turnstile, worse than Drew
Frier is lazy, he won't turn up to the breakdown, nor does he push in rucks or scrums
Dunning is big, but incredibly slow he won't keep up with the fast paced game the other 14 are playing, can we sub him on just for the scrums and off for everything else

Come to think of it, can we sub Frier on for lineout throws and nothing else?

We need to look harder than that!

I stand by it, given the past season's performances.

Beale has been shifted around the whole field in defence in the hope of finding a position where he can make a tackle.....it hasn't worked, he's on the bench.

I'd much rather have Halangahu (who I don't rate much BTW, but he's the best option which is actually available)

Don't forget Halangahu has been on the fringes for three years whilst Beale has been the wunderkind, I'm sure a smart negotiator will be able to explain what will happen if Beale runs into some form, or Hangers has a couple of bad games.

He also has the tactical kicking game we need at the Beale has very little of that, really amounting to a 40% - 60% chip kick

I'd rather not have the Klingon sorry! Bring back Jimmy!
