    more from the SMH

Has anyone seen the article in Rugby Heaven re Pocock?
    relevant section is
" Western Force flanker David Pocock a bolter for the Wallabies' end-of-season tour. An up-and-coming Super 14 player in trouble because of his party-boy tour antics. And despite Western Force denials, there are divisions within the organisation. "

Pivot, centre, centre Stirling kept on his toes - rugbyheaven.com.au

I'm wondering if the middle sentence is supposed to refer to the force (again)

Can't let a good news story about Captain Bam go unpunished.

Hahah, well this proves it. I originally thought all of the SMH stuff from Force fans was deluded paranoia.

To say Bam is in trouble because of his "party boy" antics?! What did he do? Gatecrash a prayer group at a local church or something?

It's not easy at all to be a party boy in Perth, the night scene is rubbish. Besides, he is what, 19/20, has SMH seen 19 and 20 year olds?

I actually don't think the 'party boy' is a reference to Dave.... assuming it's a Force rumour, I figure it's got to be part of the flouro set.

    Settle folk, they are saying:
Bam Bam is a bolter for the EOYT tour (and I don't know why that would surprise anyone, as blooding young players is what EOYTs have become)
    AND
some unnamed other played up on tour...implies but doesn't say that it was a Force player
    AND
There are divisions in the team (really, so now it is "divisions" rather than Sharpie and Gits breaking contract etc etc?)

    Ha ha
Yep tis true Bam was a bolter on tour, he was the captain after all.
The up-and-coming player in trouble because of his party boy antics, hahaha what do they honestly expect some of the boys have just turned 18 and have pretty much been let loose in another country with their mates, as if something wasn't going to happen if you put any other 18/19 year old in that situation.
Divisions in the team...yep there are; some are in Brisbane and some are in Europe and some are in Perth, geographical divisions are hard to overcome when the players are representing the Nation and the rest of the team is on holiday or training in Perth.

If a player is with the Force he's either in trouble or is thinking of leaving.
If a player leaves the Force it's because the Force is a "troubled franchise" and is on the verge of collapse and should never have been started in the first place.
If a player joins the Force it's only because of some dodgy money deal.

I think that just about covers it?

Have I just put some journos out of a job?
