Some big $$$$$ have been offered I'll bet. The money in Europe is very juicy.

That is good news with some over East doubting the Force's ability to resign key players. He's a champion for sure.

Hmmm the last half of that article doesn't seem quite as positive as the first half, but the first statement is the important thing...If he stays in Oz, he plays for the Sharpie seems a pretty canny bloke, and he's certainly got a future in the West, he speaks well and has a great head for radio, he'll certainly have options in the future. I'm not so sure that he'll take the lure of massive money overseas, I've only spoken to him a couple of times, but he seems really down-to-earth, and as long as he's set up for a comfy life, I don't think he would put a lot of stock into becoming a multi millionaire!

    Hope I've read him right!

Yeah I had that suspicion too that it seemed less sure of itself as the article went on. I await the exact confirmation when he gets back because I don't want him to do a Digby on us (knock on wood) but that has really perked up my day. Woohoo!

The shining light is....despite all reports that he's headed back to Qld, he's adamant that he'll either play rugby or move OS........he's a smart boy, loyalty to the will set him up with a corporate job for life over here.....going OS will set him up with a bank balance like Bill bloody Gates!

    The WF Man

As far as I am concerned Sharpie is the main stay for the EWF. He is like the rock of the team. We need players like Sharps who can pull a team together and get them to focus. He is definately a true gentleman of the game played in heaven. I hope this news is true, EWF needs Sharpie; offer him what ever the bloody hell he wants I say!!! I think he is the most under rated play in Australia, lucky for us Mitchell doesn't think so!

3 year contract is a bit much, can he honestly hold out to 33 years old?
