You people have contacts in the Force.
Get them to organise a 'Dress Up Round' where everyone has to dress up in a costume or something and donate a gold coin for some charity (Telethon)
It works a treat in England at the cricket. They have it EVERY saturday at the cricket and people really become creative and fun with it.
Give a good rep for the Force fans too to organise something like this!
To some its a six-pack, to me it's a support group.
In case everyone was wondering, yes we have seen this proposal before.

Without wanting to rain on anyones parade, especially yours Luke.
We as a group really need to consider a couple of things.
At the time of writing this post, we have 578 members. Of those 578 about 40 members would contribute to these forums on a regular basis I would has at a guess and say another 100 people log in and read these threads on a regular basis. There are probably 150 members that have never posted and have probably forgotten about our little piece of Cyber Space.
Of our 578 members I think we would be lucky to have 200 members that actually go to Force Games.
In a crowd of just under 40,000 at Subiaco - 200 people dressed up in a theme, or 200 people trying to sing the same song. And please lets remember that this same 200 people dont sit in the same area of Subiaco. They are going to look, or sound weird.
Its great to be enthusiastic about the Force, and trying to bring a bit of color to our home games, but lets be realistic about the proposals.

yeh not saying just advertise to the people here. Get the force administration to advertise to all members and public, hence why i said the people with contacts.
and i havent said anything about singing either?

we do dress up.....in BLUE.......Ocean Blue...
though I suppose we could wear white socks and sandles with that....
The socks must be long ones up to just below the knee. Not those gay little numbers! Plus a nice Terry towelling hat to boot.Originally Posted by travelling_gerry

I agree we do need to consider it Exile and, while I am not really a fan of "dressing up" as I reckon we need to focus on the "sea of blue", we should also consider that two expat ladies were able to mobilise a 5000 participant rally without anywhere near the network and contacts that we now enjoy.Originally Posted by Exile
If every time someone tries to get something running it is met at the first step with a straight bat defense then guess what, in 2026 we will be sitting at our new arena going "For-ORCE clap clap clap, For-ORCE clap clap clap".
In my humble opinion, from the two matches I was able to attend, the Subi crowd is crying out for some direction and some decent way of interacting with the match.
We all pretty much agreed that we weren't in a position to do anything so soon for S14 '06 but the same excuses don't wash now.
If the active members distributed 100 A4 sheets of what ever is suggested to those sitting around them, or at the gates, then I am confident the enthusiasm would spread like wildfire.
If we don't try then what do we get?
"For-ORCE clap clap clap, For-ORCE clap clap clap"![]()
If we do try and it fails, what do we get?
A single match of embarrassment and then......

When we start winning at Subi, look out. The sea of blue will send a shiver up opposing teams. I personally dont give a rats arse about screaming out Force come on because it may be naff to some ( sorry Burgs) , singing a song or whatever. We rock and it will become the house of pain. Forget Carisbrook and the game i saw at Jade Stadium between the Crusaders and the Tahs,( we couldnt believe how flat the crowd was,Crusaders won) Its awesome now and will be far better when we get to Members Equity! Your on the money Exile.
