Good Evening Ladies and Gentlemen....your intrepid TWF reporter checking in from sunny Margaret River.
The Force are training here tomorrow and by a chance of fate I am here too...
Had a beer at Settlers Pub earlier and saw a guy with a hat who said his girlfriend was a rabid Force fan....and TWF member...so to that lovely lady...cya at the training session tomorrow...
So with a quite red in my hand I bid thee cheers till tomorrow and hope to put up some report and pic when I get home...
This is your intrepid TWF reporter Travelling_Gerry signing if from Margaret River.
Well a crowd of about 100 spectators were on hand to see the Force squad go through their paces.
Due to unexpected delays (30 export steers not wanting to go where they were told and road works blockages) I was late getting there so I am not able to tell you how individual guys trained but I did run into SW Development Officer Callan Hatchman who bought me up to date – Thanks Callan.
The squad was the whole squad minus the Wallabies who are on lay off time.
Basically the guys are looking fit……very fit….with notable bulking up by Richard Brown and David Pocock. Angus Scott and AJ Walley also looked to have benefited from the gym.
Chris O’Young was up and about and seems to be recovering well.
Ryan Cross and Scott Staniforth joined the team yesterday and trained in Busselton and Margaret River.
After training the boys were off for a spot of lunch then a quick promo before bus back to Perth later this afternoon.
Looking forward to the start of the season….I think we have a very special squad on the way.
I took a couple of pics that I will put up later
Yours in Margaret River,
