This is the second time today, there was another outage during the Reds V Brumbies. And another during one of the matches last week. Not nearly as long as this one though. I thought the broadcasters carried low bandwidth backup feeds for just such an occassion.
Is there anything we, as a group can do to show our dissatisfaction with fox sports ? Other than calling dead end compaints services etc... So that hopefully fox will take there obligations as the sole beoadcaster of super 14 in Australia a little more seriously ? Obviously were not going to cancel our fox subscriptions en masse ? But there must be a way of bringing thier technical ineptitude into the spotlight and at least embarrass them enough that they will avoid any risk of a repeat occurrence ...
Anyway, back on now 25 minutes off the air ...
they could of started from where they stopped, 2 mins in....

The best thing you can do is send them a nasty, but well written email.
The Planet-Rugby live scores were broken for me during the outage and stuck at the 11min mark until the end of the first half.
It may be inappropriate to blast Fox Sports over this outage. It seems that the problem was at the Supersports end of the transmission. Hence some of the non-Aussie web sites that were trying to broadcast live score updates were also down for the 20 minutes since they weren't getting any feed from RSA.
The frustration is a tad understandable though ..........
