I wondered whether Chris Heiberg was back in town to play for the Force, I've been training at the gym at the same time as him for the last month. Was surprised to see him the first time.

As a organisation, the Bulldogs were actually ok until late lsat year/early this year when Ray Dib decided to stick his fingers where they shouldn't be all because he's up for re-election next year.
To be fair to her, she has a fair amount of experience with troublesome boards. Anyone that has to deal with Ray Dib and the rest of the Bulldogs board on a day to day basis should be given a medal.
I believe the Sydney Roosters have trademarked the term "Salary Sombrero" :sarcastic:
It also helps that the money available in RL is enough that they can live on it in Australia and still manage to send some home to the family in the Pacific Islands. RU just doesn't compete with that
The Australian Rugby Union still has not made a decision on *whether it will relax the salary cap this year in the wake of the Western Force’s culling from Super Rugby, which is causing confusion for...
I don't think they get to keep ticket sales this time as they won't run the stadium unlike Subiaco and they're just causing problems because they are still unhappy about that. For what is the biggest...
Agreed, RUPA are a joke as far as being a players association is concerned. Similar to RLPA until Prendergast became CEO and Cameron Smith president. Unfortunately rugby union does not have a person...
There's a clause in their CBA that prevents this. They could still do it I suppose but there'd be serious problems as a result
Did Twiggy just buy the Force?
While it's a eye grabbing tweet, that's not what he's actually reporting. The owner of the Rebels has reserved the right to commence legal action, that's all.
The Western Force has issued a writ against the Australian Rugby Union in an extraordinary move to head off plans to evict them from Super Rugby.
And Melbourne Rebels owner Andrew Cox last night...
From what I know about how they train, this it wouldn't be too far from the mark. To much time spent recovering rather than actually training so that the recovery is worth doing. Not surprising that...
All this may be difficult with McCalman playing in Japan during the southern hemisphere off-season
To be fair if they played for Australia they probably would be. Similar to the generation of Australian cricketers in the late 90's - early 00's that never got a shot at the national team but would...
Interesting to see Corey Thomas playing at lock for Brisbane
and that sums up the season
Agree, Mathewson consistently slow from the breakdown all season. every time Prior or Louwrens has come on it's much faster
Drafts in Australia will never work as well as in the States because we don't have the same development system. In the States it goes high-school->college-> then big-time at 22. In Australia it goes...
Brumbies by 30
Yep the Reds S&C did walkout to go to Japan but that's not the reason Marsh is heading back to the Reds. There's some other stuff that has to do with the Brumbies that is atleast the majority of the...
You watch these guys go over to Japan after the world cup, come back and play a couple games here and then get broken. Same reason Cummins isn't playing great, no training time
Honestly if the Brumbies don't put 30 odd on the Force on Friday I'll be surprised
Damian Marsh leaving the Brumbies for the Reds is interesting to me
I thought I'd somehow ended up at a game of AFL
