The Force would have some say in regards to allocations.
The player's history and whether they had a connection with a specific club in WA has to be considered that's what happened when the Brumbies allocated players to local clubs after pulling them out of Sydney and Brisbane. Ben Alexander and Nic White were allocated to clubs they played for previously.
don't disturb Fulvio's tin foil hat,Bakkies
Madness is doing the same thing again and again and expecting a different result each time.
I once trusted RugbyWA to do the right thing.
Fulvio, how do you get to that assumption?
I fail to understand how by following common courtesy which you would expect, that it transpires into some nefarious conspiracy.
Mate - take a BEX.
FYI - Player allocation was done by Minderoo because they OWN the players. However, RugbyWA provided input to ensure that no club was exceeding it's quota per the Competition Rules. The allotted players also needed to be consulted and have been exceptionally accommodating. Furthermore, the entire squad has not yet been filled so we needed to walk the fine line where we communicated to Community the allocation as soon as possible so as to try and mitigate your type of negative assumptions.
By the way, I actually think you engaging in good hearted banter.
Hansie agreed except for the term owning the players. We also don't the length of the contracts.
Does anyone have a contact number or email address with the Australian Services Rugby Union? As usual the RA website doesn't have a link to a vital part of the game's fabric.
Trying to do some family research.
So show me the list now, then show me the revised list when the dust has settled, and maybe I'll have to apologize. I'm big enough (in a Danny Di Vito sort of way) to do so.
But you know what I think now Hansie?
I think the fix is in again. Like last year, and every year before that. And it will be denied. And the same few clubs with connections will get the players. And when certain people get called out, they come up with bullshit lies and excuses. And when their lies and excuses are exposed for what they are, they become defensive and abusive.
And nothing changes.
And you wonder why people with an ounce of credibility run away at a million miles an hour. And why Rugby is where it is today.
Or maybe I'm just indulging my paranoia under my tin foil hat.
The carve up will be an interesting exercise as most of the players won’t grace the field until around finals time even if they are still here
If minderoo stick with the same split as years gone by he may find it hard to sell his product as the punters have been rolled before
The Force realised there mistake far to late to engage with the locals
My info tells me the purple circle have already carved up the bounty
In reality you won't get many games out of them, it's more about how they spend their contracted 350 hours of community Rugby service as required by Nick Marvin and Twiggy.
Hi JSJ!
Do you still believe in the Easter Bunny?
He's going to bring a whole lot of Mindarooneys to your club this year.
Dear dear Fulvio
You would be the very first person to shout the loudest if due process and common courtesy was trashed so satisfy the jackals in social media.
Allow me to lay a similar accusation at your door as one laid by yourself at mine. Why twist a reasonable explanation into the release of information into a conspiracy of global proportions?.. What was that term - Straw Man - I think.
Give your club president a call, ask him to share the list with you, then discuss with him the positives and negatives and if there is some dialogue to be had, ask him to send an e-mail or phone RugbyWa and seek an explanation, clarification or change and let it be handled the same way for all other clubs. Once the list is final and all 35 players are with Cottesloe, then go ballistic, but honestly Man... be patient and keep your powder dry. Predicting a conspiracy, nepotism or any other fraudulent decision does your liver no good.
Mummy and Daddy are fighting again
Well this is getting out of order. First you tell him to take a Bex and then worry about his liver health. These "Mother's Little Helpers" caused more liver disease and kidney cancers than a boat laod of Scotland's finest.....
........and beside most of the kiddies won't know what you are on about - they were banned in 1977. :P
Sorry. :offtopic:
